Ingredients
Biotin
In this formula, we have combined Biotin (vitamin B8) extracted from basil, with other nutrients, recommended for their benefits on hair.
Biotin is particularly interesting for its role in hair growth. It accelerates the renewal of cells and hair follicles and participates in lipid metabolism as well as the synthesis of amino acids, which are necessary for hair fiber.
These properties of Biotin have also been the subject ofnumerous studieswho validated this.
Millet extract
In this formula, biotin is combined with millet, a gluten-free cereal plant. Its active ingredient, miliacin, has numerous properties for hair beauty and health. It acts on hair shine, luster, and growth.
Brewer's yeast
Brewer's yeast is a fungal-based microorganism. It is very rich in vitamins (B group) and also in minerals. Its presence in the formula will stimulate the synthesis of keratin, which is a protein present in 95% of hair fibers.
Amino acids
Methionine and cystine, two sulfur-rich amino acids, are essential for the proper structure of keratin, which is essential for hair's suppleness and tone. They are also involved in the synthesis of eumelanin, a pigment found in hair.
Zinc and Selenium
Zinc has a direct action on hair maintenance and Selenium has an antioxidant action.
Saw palmetto extract
Another essential ingredient for hair health is saw palmetto. Saw palmetto acts directly on hair loss by inhibiting enzymes that cause hormonal imbalances and alopecia.
Coll-Egan®
The ingredientis based on the latest scientific advances concerning the synthesis of collagen by the body, where glycine, proline and vitamin C play a central role.
is an innovative combination of glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, glutamic acid, alanine, arginine, as well as natural vitamin C and bamboo bud extracts, rich in ortho-silicic acid, known for its benefits on joints.
This ingredient has an EFSA-validated claim for its role in normal collagen formation. Two capsules per day provide 400 mg of, the dosage recommended by the laboratory.
In our Argalys formula, this ingredient is enriched with additional glycine, proline and vitamin C for enhanced effectiveness.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C, also called ascorbic acid, is a fat-soluble vitamin, essential for the synthesis of proteins including collagen.
Vitamin C plays an essential role in collagen synthesis by facilitating the hydroxylation of the amino acids lysine and proline.
Without vitamin C, the body is unable to complete the formation of the collagen molecule, which compromises its production.
Scurvy, a disease linked to prolonged vitamin C deficiency, results primarily from the inability to produce sufficient collagen, leading to serious problems in connective tissues.
Several studies have highlighted its important role in the synthesis of collagen protein.
Bamboo extract
Ortho silicic acid (a bamboo shoot extract found in the Coll-egan ingredient) activates the enzymatic reaction that synthesizes collagen. It therefore works in synergy with vitamin C.
The Glycine
Glycine, the predominant amino acid in collagen, represents approximately 30% of its total molecular mass.
Formerly called glycine, this molecule owes its name to its elastic properties, characteristic of collagen. It is interesting to note that our modern diet, even with satisfactory intakes of crude protein, including animal protein, can be deficient in Glycine.
Glycine is in fact mainly present in tissues that we are reluctant to eat: the skin of fish, the nerves of meat, etc. Supplementing with Glycine (or its precursors: Serine and Threonine) is therefore a relevant strategy to allow the body to synthesize collagen without risk.
Our formula provides over 300 mg of Glycine with 2 capsules per day.
