Vegan Collagen

Collagen is a protein that gives joints, muscles, tendons and skin their strength and elasticity.
With age, or the practice of sport, the capital in collagen decreases.

We have therefore designed a formula rich in collagen and certified Vegan🌿.

This innovative formula is a mix of amino acids directly precursor of collagen (claim validated by the EFSA), with the effectiveness reinforced by Hyaluronic Acid, Zinc and extracts of Wild Pansy and Burdock, to find a healthy skin durably.

Vegan Collagen - 60 capsules

This new formula is a real innovation because it contains a vegan composition very similar to that of animal collagen, reinforced with hyaluronic acid, bamboo extracts, wild pansy, burdock and vitamin C.

Vegan Coll- egan® collagen:

We have selected Coll- egan®, the first ingredient validated by EFSA* for the claim of "contribution to normal collagen formation".

Coll-egan® is a combination of amino acids with a profile reinforced by extracts of acerola (vitamin C contribution) and bamboo bud, rich in ortho-silicic acid, selected for their collagen-stimulating benefits.

*EFSA: European Food Safety Agency, the only agency authorized to validate the health claims of food supplements

Hyaluronic acid:

We have associated the vegan collagen with Hyaluronic Acid which is also naturally present in our body.

It has an important role in maintaining the skin's hydration and the coherence of the intercellular spaces, and therefore its elasticity.

The synergy between collagen and hyaluronic acid makes this association very relevant for our formula designed for the beauty of the skin.

A clear skin with the wild pansy and the Burdock:

A beautiful skin is also a clear skin.

The extracts of wild pansy and burdock bring their natural benefits for a radiant skin.

The + product:

✅A mix of bio-active molecules
✅Certified Vegan
✅1-month treatment
✅Promotes skin tone and firmness
✅Without impact on the fauna and flora

Collagen is a structural protein that confers the essential properties of resistance and elasticity to body tissues. It represents about 35% of the proteins in the human body.

From the age of 30, due to exposure to the sun, age, or sport, we lose about 1% of our collagen capital each year.

This results in a decrease in the elasticity and firmness of the skin.

A supplementation to compensate for the losses can have many positive effects.

The benefits of Collagen

The benefits of collagen are numerous because it is the structural protein most present in our body.

It is found in the skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue.

Collagen for the skin:

Collagen is composed of fibers and acts as a glue allowing cohesion between cells. Moreover the origin of the word collagen comes from the Greek word “kolla” which means “glue”.

At the level of the skin, it will allow a better hydration thanks to its capacity to retain the water of tissues and will also allow to maintain a good elasticity.

Collagen for the joints:

Collagen (with vitamin C) is also very useful for joint comfort because it makes up about 65% of the weight of cartilage.

It therefore has a very important role in joint mobility and comfort.

The association of Collagen and vitamin C:

Vitamin C contributes to the proper formation of collagen and thus to the maintenance of normal skin, teeth, bones, cartilage and gums.

When should we take the supplement Colagen Vegan?

It is preferable to take your collagen capsules during the meal, for a good absorption. (Preferably away from tea or coffee).

How many capsules ?

This supplement is intended for adults. It is advised to take 2 capsules per day

How to take the capsule ?

The Vegan Collagen Argalys is a food supplement in capsule form. You can take them with a big glass of water.

Duration of a box:

Each pillbox contains 60 capsules, i.e. 1 month of treatment.

Precautions to be observed:

To consume within the framework of a varied and balanced diet, and of a healthy way of life. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Pregnant and breast-feeding women must take the advice of a doctor before any supplementation.

Each capsule contains: Coll-Egan© (Glycine, hydroxyproline, Glutamic Acid, Alanine, Arginine, Acerola, Ascorbic Acid, Bamboo bud extract, Proline), Hyaluronic Acid, Wild Pansy extract, Burdock extract, Zinc Gluconate, Sunflower oil, Acacia powder. Vegetable capsule: HPMCellulose-gellan gum

For 2 capsules per day :

  • 400 mg of Coll- egan
  • 150 mg of Hyaluronic Acid
  • 280 mg of Wild Pansy
  • 500 mg of Burdock
  • 2,6 mg of Zinc

What is collagen?

Collagen is a structural protein, it is what gives most of the resistance and elasticity properties to body tissues.

There are in fact 28 different types of collagen (type I, II, etc.).

All of them together form a family of proteins that is by far the most abundant in all mammals: collagens are not rare molecules, on the contrary.

In humans, they represent about 5% of the total weight.

It is the fibrous form of the molecule that gives it its main properties and in particular its role in the elasticity of the skin.

The composition of Collagen

In the composition of collagen, there are 3 very specific Amino Acids that are found in higher proportions:

  • Glycine
  • Proline
  • Hydroxyproline

It is also known that the synthesis of collagen by the body is improved by the presence of catalysts including vitamin C (for all proteins) and ortho-silicic acid (scientifically established).

Consuming is not synthesizing!

As is the case for all proteins, the collagen molecule is not absorbed by the body in its complete form, but by being “cut up” into unitary bricks: the Amino Acids, which alone are assimilable.

Once deconstructed in the form of amino acids, this mix will be used for the synthesis of proteins necessary to the body (not only collagen).

There will be a destruction of the collagen protein into small peptides (chains of amino acids) and then a reuse of these “blocks” to act on 2 mechanisms:

  • An exogenous contribution: The blocks of Glycine, Hydroxyproline and proline will be used directly by the body and optimize the production of collagen.
  • An endogenous contribution: the deconstructed peptides will be reused to stimulate the production of new collagen molecules but also other molecules found in the skin such as elastin.

But then, does vegan collagen exist?

In its natural state, it does not exist because it is a protein of animal origin.

However, it is possible to combine the amino acids representative of collagen (proline, glycine, hydroxyproline etc.) and absorption catalysts to allow the body to synthesize more collagen.

Indeed, as explained above, all collagens present in our body (Type I, II etc.) have in common a structure made of amino acids.

Moreover, as all proteins undergo enzymatic hydrolysis after being ingested, it is not necessarily necessary to ingest a complete animal collagen protein.

Therefore, it is possible to add specific amino acids in order to obtain the same effects as with animal collagen.

This is why we have selected the ingredient Coll-egan®, validated by EFSA* for the claim “contributes to normal collagen formation”.

Coll-egan® is an association of amino acids with a profile reinforced by acerola extracts (vitamin C contribution) and bamboo bud, rich in ortho-silicic acid, for its collagen-stimulating benefits.

FAQ - WE ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
Is your collagen suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
This supplement is certified Vegan by The Vegetarian Society.
At what age should I use it?
It is recognized that our collagen capital decreases with time. We lose up to 1% of collagen per year from the age of 30. It may therefore be appropriate to take collagen as soon as we reach adulthood (18 years old).
Will your collagen have a positive effect on my skin?
Yes, collagen is a protein that is essential to the structure of the skin's dermis, so supplementation will have a positive effect on the skin's firmness and elasticity.
How many capsules are in a pillbox?
There are 60 capsules in a pillbox, i.e. 1 month of treatment.
Is there such a thing as plant-based collagen?
No, because in its natural state, it does not exist: it is a protein of animal origin. However, it is possible to combine the amino acids representative of collagen (proline, glycine, hydroxyproline, etc.) with absorption catalysts to allow the body to synthesize more collagen.
