Iron is an essential trace element for the body because the body cannot synthesize it.

Iron plays an essential role for the oxygenation of the body: it is the transporter of oxygen in the blood to all organs. It is also involved in numerous enzymatic processes and also participates in energy metabolism, the proper formation of red blood cells and even cell division.

Any lack of iron results in a reduced capacity for exercise by limiting the supply of oxygen to the organs in use.

With the Multivitamins and Minerals and the Iron supplement, we have the ideal pack to support athletes. Iron actively contributes to the oxygen supply of the muscles and intervenes in the constitution of red blood cells. The Multivitamins contains vitamin D, essential for the absorption of calcium. It also concentrates 17 essential nutrients for the body and for recovery. Be careful to separate the intake of Iron from that of the Multivitamins (2 hours minimum).

Why didn't you put Iron in the Multivitamin?

Iron and many vitamins and minerals interact negatively when present in the stomach and intestine together, resulting in poorer absorption. In addition, it is rarely necessary to take Iron daily in the long term, whereas the Multivitamins and minerals can be consumed all year round: Two good reasons to separate "Iron from the "Multi"

How did you select the vitamins and minerals present in your capsules?

Firstly for their nutritional relevance, under conditions of well-controlled quality and purity, to obtain significant contributions of all the micro-nutrients present with a single capsule. There are 100% of the RDA, for the majority of the nutrients present in the capsule except for Vitamins B12 and vitamin D3 whose contributions have been reinforced. Also note that the dosage of Magnesium represents 25% of the AJR.

Can I take this pack regardless of the sport I practice?

Except in specific cases (see with your doctor), there is no contraindication to taking vitamins and minerals to accompany your practice!

Why is iron important for sports practice?

Iron can help limit fatigue during exercise because it contributes to the oxygen supply to the muscles. When it is limiting, athletes can suffer from anemia and feel more tired and breathless.

Can I take both capsules at the same time?

Both are best taken with two different meals to avoid negative absorption interactions between the two formulas. It is also advisable to avoid tea or coffee at the same time because the tannins of both drinks greatly reduce the absorption of iron by the body.
